THE PROJECT
NUGU HANDMADE is a social enterprise based in rural India that empowers local artisans by turning traditional artisanship into sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle products. Rooted in community-led heritage and sustainable design, each handcrafted piece preserves skilled craftmanship while providing fair-wage livelihoods and preserving indigenous traditions. The documentary film on NUGU HANDMADE is produced by FOUNDATION TO AID INDUSTRIAL RECOVERY (FAIR) as part of its mission to document and promote innovative, socially impactful, and sustainable enterprises and industries, both environmentally and financially.
